Another great question this week. New AMSOIL dealer asking what’s best business cards or catalogs. I will answer this question to help get started smart as well as be successful.

For starters is it better to start effectively with business cards or catalogs?
My answer:
Catalogs are best if you personally hand them to a prospect, show them which products they need and how they can place an order. Otherwise giving out a lot of catalogs will make you broke in a hurry.
Business cards, well everyone should have business cards, they are inexpensive and great to give out to everyone you know. You might get a call someday.
The best sales approach is face to face, giving the prospect the facts on why AMSOIL products are the best and then getting them to place an order or registered as an account (commercial, ROTS, dealer or PC) whichever they qualify for.
Once you get a customer registered, then it’s up to you to follow up, help with orders and create a lasting relationship.
As you see, many dealers just just haven’t had the experience to know what works and what doesn’t.
