Well folks, in case you missed it, here is the update on the AMSOIL convention. For us, this was a year long project that the Sparks AMSOIL Team worked on to get those that want to build an AMSOIL business there.
If you did miss the AMSOIL 40th, the next one will be July 2018. But the good news is that you can take part in the best AMSOIL training (besides this website) called AMSOIL University. AMSOIL University will be held May 18th-22nd, 2014.
The AMSOIL Sparks Team was out in full force at the convention with dealers and spouses attending. We had such a great time this year and was the best yet that we have attended. So far we have been to the AMSOIL 30th, 35th and now the 40th and it just keeps getting better.

What we are seeing is that AMSOIL is pouring more and more into product development, advertising, and hiring new employees. Dean Alexander, Executive VP and CFO of AMSOIL Inc., stated that they are just one person shy of hiring their 300th employee. It’s great to see AMSOIL putting so much into our company. It really makes us proud to be part of this wonderful Business Opportunity.
Our trip to Duluth / Superior was a special one this year. My sister Carol Brady and 
her daughter Jenna Yockel joined us. Carol became an AMSOIL Dealer earlier this year and was really excited to see what the AMSOIL Company was all about. Carol drove from Florida to Tennessee and we all rode to Duluth, Minnesota together. It was nice because we haven’t really seen much of each other in the last 20 years. We had a great time.
AMSOIL Convention week started out with a 2 1/2 day training class called Core Technology. This is an abbreviated version of what they teach at AMSOIL University. Dealers get to take part in classes ranging from engine oil to filtration to sales and marketing. These classes are the foundation for any AMSOIL business.
On Wednesday, the AMSOIL Direct Jobbers had their exclusive event where AMSOIL treated the Direct Jobbers to an evening dinner and welcome message. The next morning were break out sessions for D.J.’s and we had several informational classes on AMSOIL, Business Building and other success strategies that will help us help our team grow their business. Thursday afternoon marked the start of the AMSOIL Convention with a welcome message from the leaders in our company to include Al Amatuzio, Dean Alexander and Alan Amatuzio.
During the next 2+ days AMSOIL dealers from across the USA and Canada took part in celebration activities that included training classes on product development, current goings on in AMSOIL, where the company is headed and how AMSOIL is positioned to help dealers grow their business faster and better than ever before.
On Friday there were classes and presentations, we also had several give-aways as well as leader awards for dealer that made Direct Jobber, Premier Direct Jobber and Executive DJ. After the AMSOIL Convention activities, the Sparks team along with the David and Carol Bell team took part in an evening dinner cruise on Lake Superior. This evening was one of the highlights for our group. Over $2000 was given away, as well as several more awards for dealers in the Sparks team for earning Direct Jobber and beyond. The Sparks Team Rocked the House with Awards and prizes!
Saturday was the last day of the AMSOIL convention. We had several great presentations on what to look for in the next 5 years in AMSOIL. There are many 
great things going on at AMSOIL. Also during the Saturday program, AMSOIL founder A.J. Amatuzio gave away over $20,000 in cash as well as a brand new car. The good news is one of our friends won the car. They are from Canada and were very excited to win. We are so happy 
for them, even though they are not on the Sparks Team they are still winners.
On Saturday evening, the AMSOIL convention concluded with the customary President’s Dinner. This is where Mr. Amatuzio holds a formal dinner in celebration of 40+ years of AMSOIL. It was a grand time and we were dressed for the occasion.
As was said numerous times during the convention, the best time to be an AMSOIL dealer is now. From the humble beginnings to a internationally recognized company in synthetic lubrication excellence, many dealers are taking part in the Synthetic Revolution.
