Sparks Team AMSOIL Training Call for Monday October 12th, 2015
This weeks call was about Personal and Professional development.
Consider this:
- If you are not working to get better, move forward, you are going backwards
- Spending $12 on a book that could give you a new skill, or a better idea. What about spending $100 on a training course to learn Facebook, WordPress, internet marketing etc.
- The average millionaire reads at least one personal / professional development book a month
- Personal vs Professional Development
- Personal development can be anything dealing money, success, motivation
- Professional development specifically deals with your profession. In some careers they call that continuing ed. We’re all in sales, and any type of sales training is professional development as well as Lubrication and Filtration training

Always enjoy your training calls. Learn something new every time! Dale did a fantastic job and thanks for having him. A question about follow-up visits: how long between each visit? (Looking at 5-12 follow-ups). Again, thanks.

I’ve conducted entire seminars on follow up & found most people don’t follow up because they simply don’t know what to do or what to say.
Things to consider:
Most (80%) of all sales are made after the 5th follow up.
68% of ALL salespeople never follow up at all.
The 1st follow up should be within 1 minute after the end of the initial contact.
It should be a 15-20 second video of yourself thanking them for their time & letting them know you will text them more helpful information within the next 24 hours.
The 2nd follow up should be done within 1 hour of the initial contact.
This 2nd follow up should be a phone call stating “Again, It was really special meeting with you today, I’ll get you more information by tomorrow”. Call or text me at 5612363544 if you would like more follow up techniques that will last an entire year of follow up.
